25th to 29th May- Work suggestions-
Hello,
I hope you are all well and that you are all in good spirits. The past week has had a mixed bag of weather, so it was a little
tricky to get out each day, but I hope ye succeeded most days.
It has been very windy here- nicer again today, and the forecast I think is good for the week ahead-
Thank you all very much for taking the
time to collect school books last Tuesday.
I was delighted to meet family members and hear how you are doing. It is all very hard to make sure things are going ok at such a distance, so it was lovely to get feedback.
Continue to keep a routine as best you can, tackle the suggested work when possible, and if you wish to rearrange when the work it done, that is perfect also-
Ye will be so upset to realise that I will not set any more
Gaeilge or English spellings for the remainder of the year.. or the sentences to explain their meanings, or the fuaimeanna agus focail activities!!!!! It is one of the benefits from being at home- we would be finding new lists at school!!
Also, fifth and sixth will not need to do any more Work it out for rest of year, and similar to spelling lists for 3rd and 4th, if we were in school, I think we would definately be finding some more for ye to work on!!
Instead,
we will work on a little more SESE and I hope that this will be a welcome break and new experience, which will engage you all a little more-
Well done on focusing on the work and well done for being super at home-
Best wishes and remember, use the email to contact
principal.inchigeelans@gmail.com or inchigeelans@gmail.com
The answer books for maths will be emailed to you also if you contact Ms White or myself, as the files are too big to put on the website-
Have a good week-

May, 2020
Hello everyone,
I hope you are all well and that you are all managing to get out to exercise and enjoy the nice weather that we are having most days. Perhaps maybe you are getting a chance to read outside, to do some art and
craft work outside or some gardening activities . It is great to get out in the fresh air when we get a chance.
I hope the school work schedule is managable and that a new routine is settling for you at present. I think you have probably heard
at this stage that we will have to extend this home- school link for longer, as we have been told that the schools must remain closed for now- That will mean that we will finish off our school year remotely . It is such a huge huge change for everyone,
I would so much rather be in school doing work with ye, but we are not allowed, so we will continue on linking like this. Please email me if ye have any queries or suggestions or updates on anything.
If ye email myself or Ms White, we will send on the
PDF file of answers for the work it out books, so they can be corrected by you each day, making it easier for you to see your results immediately.
As I said last week, ye are always really good at school and I am sure that ye will also do your best
at home when asked to do so. Keeping being your super selves-
I was delighted to get some photos and feedback on how some of you are getting on, so please email me inchigeelans@gmail.com if
ye would like to update me, or if you have anything ye wish to ask about. principal.inchigeelans@gmail.com is also working for me .
Jamie O' Callaghan sent on a beautiful project on the
GAA and that is finally going up ion a seperate tab, with your name on it Jamie- Apologies for such a delay on getting it up. I was unable to upload all the pages, but will take photos of them and attach like that today. Fantastic body of work. well done
Best of luck in the week ahead,
Well done again guys. Missing the school routine and being able to meet ye each day.
We'll just keep working together at a distance. Best wishes to you all- Ms Lucey. 🙂
